Some problems with the Creation story.

Ok so I was thinking about this last night and I realized something: there are a few biological problems with the creation story of Judeo-Christian mythology. We’ve all seen the picture that went around a while ago saying “if Adam and Eve were the first humans, why do they have belly buttons?” But it goes even further than that. If Eve was created as a clone of Adam, why would Adam have nipples? He certainly wouldn’t need them. And God only decided to make Eve as an afterthought, as company for Adam, so even if he added some nipple DNA into the mix of Eve when he cloned Adam, that wouldn’t explain why every human now has them.

Not to mention all the other vestigial structures in human anatomy, such as wisdom teeth, the coccyx, the appendix, etc.

Now, obviously we all know the creation story is mythological, but there are those who believe it to be a true historical account of the origins of the human race, and it’s those people that have to account for the presence of such structures in human anatomy (and in animal anatomy if they’re complete evolution-deniers).
