How I feel when atheists bash on religion or try and disprove a religion
You’re being a hypocrite dummy. I won’t shove my beliefs down your throat if you do the same
Making fun of a religion isn’t the same as preaching. That’s like if I made fun of a movie you liked and you accused me of trying to make you never watch movies ever again. Besides, atheism isn’t a religion, so there’s that.

Wow.
I hate 90% of the “atheist blogs” on Tumblr. They’re completely giving atheists a bad name/reputation. Being an atheist simply means the person doesn’t believe in a god. A(lack of) and Theist (believing in at least one deity).
What it does not mean is that all atheists have this insane obsession with mocking religion and christianity. It does not mean that they have the right to insult different religions. Because let’s get this straight: Being an atheist, or being a christian, doesn’t make you better than anyone else. We’re all fucking human and everything we think, every belief, is a theory.
I’ve made a post similar to this before, but I just happened to see another ridiculous and offensive post on my dashboard, and I blew up.
These anti-christian and anti-religion blogs should be called as such (even though I still don’t approve), instead of “atheism blogs”. This makes people assume that atheists are always ignorant bigots.
I’m not obsessed. I just do it because religion is fucking ridiculous and it’s fun to make fun of. If you get your panties in a wad about someone poking fun at someone else’s religion, you’re probably looking for something to be offended by.

How to quickly derail the argument of a typical theist:
Keep asking these two quesitons:
- Why?
- How do you know?
Watch how fast their logic spins in circles.
Non-Religion is a Religion
Short post because it should be obvious.
I know this may come as a surprise to a lot of people, but believe it or not, not having a religion is a religious view. You know when we decided we wanted to push for religious freedom in this country for everyone? That means all religious views, ATHEISM included. So when you’re considering getting mad at someone for suing after being forced to say the words “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance, recognize that they might be feeling a bit offended that their religious freedom is being tread upon by a state-sponsored activity. This also bleeds over into the issue of same-sex marriage and abortion, where religions will dictate what you can and cannot do, but as I have said in a previous post- These people generally do not care what you think, because they do not share the same religion, and should have their religious views protected, despite what you hold.
I’m not sure how many times you people need to be told. Atheism is a lack of religion. However, freedom of religion is supposed to prevent the country from establishing laws which favor one religion (which is does anyway, let’s not kid ourselves here). In this post you have presented your argument, but utterly failed to support it, then just rambled for the rest of the paragraph without accomplishing anything.

I don’t know if atheism is really any belief. To me it just feels like an absence of a religion.
That’s basically exactly what it is.

well shit, they could have at least sold them. I don’t really care so much for gta or cod, but I would NEVER do that to really any game I own, especially not Assassin’s Creed 2.
